Welcome to the Akira-FAQ, a land of wonders where everything is possible. You'll come across a bit of useful information every now and then but the main intention of this is to have FUN!

The FAQ is aimed to all people who are interested in Akira, no matter how much they know about the show already. In fact you don't have to know anything about it at all. But of course you'll have to watch/read it to take advantage out of most of the FAQ.

Useful info! Why has Akira been delayed? Where does the Power come from? Does Akira contain sex and/or violence? A new universe? What's the Doc talking about? . . . and many more!

Useless info! Is Ryu really Kei's brother? Why would I want to watch/read Akira ? Should I join the Great Tokyo Empire? Hey! Wasn't that from Akira in this other show? . . . and many more!

Download Akira-FAQ Version 1.08

The archive holds the Akira-FAQ Version 1.08 in both Unix (Akira-FAQ_v1.08) and Dos (a-faq108.txt) text format.

Note:
Some FTP and WWW addresses aren't valid anymore in the FAQ. I will update it but this will happen not before the next version comes out. So here are some corrections for now. I'm trying to hunt down the others:

• spelling and grammar corrections (This is an endless quest)
• more detailed info about the Akira games
• voice actors of the anime (english/french/german/italian)
  missing japanese: the kids, the Doctor, Miyako, Yamagata.
• a list of the many releases of manga and anime in different countries and of different companies.
• Japanese Akira: Differences between Young Magazine serialized version and the reprint.
