People like the AKIRA Home Page

Fed up of all those boring Netscape Now! badges? Here are some which I find more interesting:

Point Top 5% of all web
sites
Point Communications are regularly releasing reviews of miscellanneous web sites. In the entertainment sector, the AKIRA Home Page has reached the Top 5% criterium based on the given ratings.
Check out the review on the AKIRA Home Page at Point.

A site that ROCKs according to ECW and Imajika
Who say's that reviews of home pages has to be a domain of those big companies alone? Here's a private review page called ECW and Imajika's Guide to things that ROCK and things that SUCK. The AKIRA Home Page ROCKs, of course. The private award site vanished, so it sucked? ^_^

Best of Darker Side of the net
There was a review page of Salt City Video, but it's only a list of links now. Go to the B-Movie Theater to check out the neatest low-budget films. There's really a lot of info there including Salt City's exclusive videos, news from all possible genres, production help and many more. You can also go directly to the link page. Anyway, as far as AKIRA is concerned, it isn't really a B-Movie at least not for an animated one: The cost was about 7,000,000$. But nevertheless it's a cult indeed.

The Blade Zone Fiery Eye Award
This award is given monthly by Blade Zone, an on-line Blade Runner fan-club. Only science fiction sites are reviewed. The plaque above is linked to the site, so Blade Runner fans might want to check it out.

The Key Resource ranking is based on the popularity of the sites. The award is given to the higher ranks. For obvious reasons, the sites are listed by category. The AKIRA Home Page belongs to the anime and manga category of course.
